Hey ya all pns. finally I decided 2 be a part on the "dark" unofficial side of JCs-Forums. ^^
So...I'm male and I'm from Germany. My hometown is a city called "Xanten" ( the one and only german town with "X" as first letter *wow..*), which is closed to cologne, dusseldorf and duisburg.
I love photography, languages (, girls ;-P), loyality and gadgets... [I am just a little nerd].....and yes I'm addicted to Jamie-Sounds. 
I'm the leader of the offical German JC-Streetteam Dusseldorf and founder + moderator of the "Jamie Cullum" group, in germanys biggest social network community Studi-& MeinVZ.
[Come and join my group with about 1310 german members. we are nearly always up2date.....but a bit slower than the pn-side^^, of course]
have been at the berlin '09 showcace and to the official german album-pre-listening yesterday at universal music in berlin, as well (i think u know ester, who just get there, because I met her at the showcase and invitee 2 join our german streetteams in the studio....maybe you know nidi as well)
so hopefully u like 2 be my JC-friend...and i'm for sure, I'm going 2 like u, because i never meet a non nice and helpful jc-fan, NEVER!!!

Hello, Duci,
willkommen, schön, dass Du den Weg hierher gefunden hast!
Interesting to read that we have so active Jamie-Fans in Germany. I'm looking forward to the new album and the upcoming tour, I hope for details very soon. I couldn't come to Berlin last week, I started in a new job October 1st and found myself in a labyrinth of things I have to learn. It's not easy at my age That's why I have a lack of time at the moment.
Do you have a link to the German community? Maybe once I will join you there.

u r right, not dark at all here.. . what i tried 2 xplain was that this forum is unofficial and not official. but who cares...this one is better than on jamiecullum.com and i think jamie knows that 2. would be better to involve this forum on his comin' new website layout.
I'm honored 2 get reply from u^^, heard a lot form other jamie fans ( ithink it was femke who i met in berlin. hopefuly i could a become friend of our jamiemaniac no 1 aka phoemail

lessah aka steffi: just wanted 2 hi again, did u download the unreleased songs already...- u can extract them with the firefox add-on from the website. cost= 0 bugs and i think it's totally legal 2 do so, because it's the fault of the admin of that page, where they tried 2 sell all these great songs from geoff and jamie ( and krum^^)...see u soon

There's an add-on for the firefox browser called "Download Helper" and it can be used to easily extract music, videos, etc from websites. On the site with those unreleased songs, because it includes full length samples, the add-on will let you download them for free. However, in this case just because the administrator was sloppy doesn't mean jamie and geoff and seb should be cheated out of their cut of the song purchases.

I'm Bettina originally from Germany, but resident in the UK for 30+ years!! Welcome to this forum.
I'm afraid I totally agree with Jazzo and Jazzieone. This website is the digital download site for Jazzizit Records, an independent UK jazz record label run by Trudy Kerr (aka Mrs Geoff Gascoyne) and Derek Nash (original joint producer of the Pointless Nostalgic CD). These people are hardworking musicians/record producers, who should NOT be penalised for not being totally up to the mark when it comes to shortcuts for downloading music for free from their website.
In fact they are giving many wonderful UK jazz musicians a leg up by being the first to record their music .....including Jamie before he was "discovered" and moved to the slightly better known Candid Record label and was then snapped up by Universal.
£2 for these three wonderful tracks is really not very much .....!!

so thank you all for your post.
i have to apologize to post the info, that u may extract the tracks...., hopefully u forgive me my download tipp.
and "quotenasiate" is german (=rates asian?!) and it means that I represent one of the asian countries in this forum or form my streetteam.
merry christmas and hopefully we gonna see us on the jc-tour.
(I got tickets for Berlin and Cologne. ;-p And if u will meet me there, I'm not alone. Nearly all my streetteam-members will be in berlin as well.) |
