Hiya Cullumsters *waves*

So, after a loooong period of being away due to lack of decent internet/time, I returned to the official PN a few weeks ago. Not long after, I was sitting there thinking 'Hmm. Not as much happening round here as there used to be...' and then I realised - you're all here! Obviously I miss big things when I go away for a while. So, I decided to join you Very Happy

Thanks! It's nice to see so many names I recognise. There's another forum I joined about 2005 and there's hardly anyone left there from the old days now. Coming here, I feel right back at home Very Happy

Welcome!
Good to see you over here Very Happy
I remember that difficult looking name, always wondered whether that was consciously chosen or just at random? It stuck with me at least. Laughing

Aha! I'm always surprised by how few people ask me about that actually! It was consciously chosen - my surname is Sharpe and my initial is C, so being a musician I always quite liked that my name was a musical note - C#. But I'm a spelling and grammar geek as well as a musician, so I didn't like losing the 'e', hence C#e. The *s were just because I liked them Sticky Out Tongue I've used it for years - my music teachers always wrote it on notes for me rather than my proper name! - but I've just tended to use hairymaclary more online recently, and thought I'd stick with that from now on. Easier to say Very Happy

Well that mystery is now finally solved them. I'd always guessed it was something at random but apparently it does make a lot of sense. Very Happy

Hairy Maclary from Donaldsons Dairy, friend of Schnitzel von Krum with the very low tum and Hercules Morse, as tall as a horse???

......evidently I spend far too much time reading to youngsters at the local primary school Whistling
